| North East London Community would like to thank all members who attended their first new style Member Meetup at Us&Co, Stratford, London. The event was well received by the 26 members (including their guests) who attended. Attendees enjoyed some fantastic presentations from a range of presenters. We were joined by: Cheryl Lythgoe, Society Matron from Benenden Health's Registered Office who provided a presentation on “How Healthy Are You!” with a focus on diabetes. Cheryl also provided basic health checks which were well received by our members. Sarah Mundy, Supported by Tor Peterson from Benenden Health’s Registered Office provided an overview of services included within your Benenden Health membership. Members found this very informative and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions. Barry Coppock from The Stroke Association delivered an informative presentation on the effects of Stroke, the early signs to look out for and preventative measures you can take. The Member Engagement Team were on hand and keen to speak with members. The event was well attended by North East London Community Representatives, who were on hand throughout the day and did a great job engaging with Members about their Community and their roles. It was lovely to meet face-to-face with so many members and we hope to see you again soon. |
