| Central Community would like to thank all members who attended their first new style Member Meetup at Novotel, Milton Keynes. The event was well received by the 76 members who attended (including their guests) who enjoyed some fantastic presentations from a range of presenters. We were joined by: Cheryl Lythgoe, the Society Matron from Benenden Health's Registered Office who provided a presentation on “How Healthy Are You?” including top tips on health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on sleep health. Jane Cooper, from Benenden Health's Products and Services Team who provided an overview of services included within your Benenden Health membership. Members found this very informative and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions. Claire Ross and Kaiden Bedwell, from St John Ambulance - Claire and Kaiden delivered an interactive demonstration on essential life saving skills from CPR to using a defibrillator. As well as providing information on everyday first aid tips. David Robinson from Diabetes UK - provided a presentation on the types of Diabetes, how to manage symptoms and how to access support. The Member Engagement Team were on hand and keen to speak with members. The event was well attended by Central Community Representatives, who were on hand throughout the day and did a great job engaging with Members about their Community and their roles. It was lovely to meet face-to-face with so many members and we hope to see you again soon. |
