| Wales Community would like to thank all members who attended their second new style Member Meetup at Venue Cymru, Llandudno. The event was well received by the 29 members (including their guests) who attended. Attendees enjoyed some fantastic presentations from a range of presenters. We were joined by: Llinos Connolly, Clinical Services Sister from Benenden Health's Registered Office who provided a presentation on “How Healthy Are You!” including top tips on health and wellbeing. Bel Dowson, from Benenden Health's Products and Services Team who provided an overview of services included within your Benenden Health membership. Members found this very informative and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions. Rhian Liddiard from From Diabetes UK delivered an informative presentation on the different types of Diabetes, strategies for living with Diabetes and information on support available. Heidi Parker-Jones, Operational Director and Tracey Milford, Out patients Director and Radiology Manager from Spire Yale Treatment Centre provided an update on the renovations to their facilities and an informative presentation about the services they provide to our members and answered lots of questions. The Member Engagement Team were on hand and keen to speak with members. The event was well attended by Wales Community Representatives, who were on hand throughout the day and did a great job engaging with Members about their Community and their roles. It was lovely to meet face-to-face with so many members and we hope to see you again soon. |
