South East London Community would like to thank all members who attended their first new style Member Meetup at the Bromley Court Hotel, Bromley.
The event was well received by the 109 members who attended (including their guests) who enjoyed some fantastic presentations from a range of presenters. We were joined by:
Cheryl Lythgoe, the Society Matron from Benenden Health's Registered Office who provided a presentation on “How Healthy Are You!” including top tips on health and wellbeing. Cheryl was also on hand to deliver basic health checks - which were well received by members.
Bel Dowson, from Benenden Health's Products and Services Team who provided an overview of services included within your Benenden Health membership. Members found this very informative and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions.
The Member Engagement Team were on hand and keen to speak with members and explain the benefits of accessing the Benenden Health App and how to engage with fellow members through the Online Community.
Greg Kearns from The Brain Charity provided an interesting presentation on neuro diversity, with a particular focus on Dementia. He provided an overview of the service provided by The Brain Charity and how support can be accessed.
Jackie Hayhoe from St Christopher's Hospice delivered a presentation on the fantastic services and support offered to patients, families and loved ones by St Christopher's Hospice.
The event was well attended by South East London Community Representatives, who were on hand throughout the day and did a great job engaging with Members about their Community and their roles.
It was lovely to meet face-to-face with so many members and we hope to see you again soon.
