South West London Community would like to thank all members who attended their first new style Member Meetup at Selhurst Park, Croydon.
The event was well received by the 33 members who attended (including their guests) who enjoyed some fantastic presentations from a range of presenters. We were joined by:
Cheryl Lythgoe, Society Matron from Benenden Health's Registered Office - Cheryl provided an interactive presentation on first aid, including a demonstration on how to use a defibrillator.
Bel Dowson, from Benenden Health's Products and Services Team Bel provided an overview of services included within your Benenden Health membership. Members found this very informative and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions.
Barry Coppock, Stroke Association - Barry provided an overview on Stroke awareness and the work that Stroke Association do to support this.
Peter Phillips, Mind Croydon - Peter delivered a presentation on the signs and symptoms of poor Mental Health and signposting support available.
Claire Harley, Director of Patient Services at Benenden Hospital - Claire presented on the history of Benenden Hospital, along with an overview of their current self-pay services.
The Member Engagement Team were on hand and keen to speak with members.
The event was well attended by South West London Community Representatives, who were on hand throughout the day and did a great job engaging with Members about their Community and their roles.
It was lovely to meet face-to-face with so many members and we hope to see you again soon.
