Midlands Community would like to thank all members who attended their first new style Member Meetup at Austin Court, Birmingham.
The event was well received by the 31 members (including their guests) who attended. Attendees enjoyed some fantastic presentations from a range of presenters.. We were joined by:
Cheryl Lythgoe, the Society Matron from Benenden Health's Registered Office who provided a presentation on “How Healthy Are You?” including top tips on health and wellbeing.
Jane Cooper, from Benenden Health's Products and Services Team who provided an overview of services included within your Benenden Health membership. Members found this very informative and enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions.
Mike Jeffries, Training Manager from Mind Birmingham - Mike Provided an overview of mental health issues with a particular focus on loneliness and how Mind Birmingham can support.
Kym Ward from The Brain Charity - Kym delivered a fantastic presentation on neurodiversity, with a focus on Dementia and how how to support loved ones.
The Member Engagement Team were on hand and keen to speak with members.
The event was well attended by Midland Community Representatives, who were on hand throughout the day and did a great job engaging with Members about their Community and their roles.
It was lovely to meet face-to-face with so many members and we hope to see you again soon.
