The John Lewis Christmas Ad is out - what do you think?

It's that time of year already - yes, the John Lewis Christmas TV advert is out now - yes, already!
Have you managed to catch it yet? I'd love to know what you all think.
Is it tugging at your heart strings, or maybe you're a bit underwhelmed?

I always enjoy hearing what people think about these adverts, there's been some great ones over the years, and some people look forward to them every year, while others would say they've lost their magic a bit. What do you think?

NickEmmett it should come with a warning, I am crying over a Christmas ad at 10 am. I'll send it to my husband right away so he cries at work too. Lovely, lovely ad.

I can sometimes lack emotion, empathy and probably another one begining with E!!! This doesn't do it for me, but do get the sentiment. My favourite was the animals jumping on the trampoline. I did try to re-enact it here, the dogs lost interest, the cats wondered off, the horses were scared and I didn't have a trampoline, apparently a folded over tarpaulin just isn't the same....
