Anyone else's houses being invaded by ladybirds? Here's why...

I don't know about you folks but our house has seen lots of ladybirds inside over the last couple of weeks - more than I ever recall seeing before, definitely several a day, dotted around various rooms.

Not inside, but a yellow black spotted one dropped on me when I was walking under a tree.
