Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent the autumn invasion of very large spiders in to the house please?

Hey CeliaHadfield - I'm not a fan of spiders either - I'd go as far as saying they're my kryptonite, although I try to be brave when they're aroud at home, especially with two young(ish) children haha.
I heard that placing a conker in the corners of your room was a good way to keep them out, or a few drops of peppermint oil.
    Anyone else have any tips?

CeliaHadfield NickEmmett I've heard that cinnamon sticks help and they also smell nice at this time of year! You just need to watch putting them near anything white as may stain. Maybe try pushing them into the soil of your plant pots.

Not heard of that one before Scouser7 - although it makes sense as they apparently don't like strong smelling things.
